[i’m currently recovering from a fab wedding i coordinated last night! everything was beautiful and i can’t wait to share about it with you. to tide you over until that post is ready, here’s yet another retroactive post!]
my 777 wedding was every guest’s dream… from beginning to end, steph & jeremiah delighted their guests with incredible entertainment and fabulous fun! the festivities took place at the beautiful spanish hills country club in camarillo, ca. (i loved working with their staff!) steph’s original vision (articulated during our initial consult) was for a day that was classy, elegant, but not uptight. we definitely brought this to fruition!
the evening began with a heartfelt ceremony in the garden, after which guests enjoyed cocktails & hors d’oeuvres on the lawn. arroyo strings provided lovely ambiance with their beautiful music. as guests entered the ballroom, they were greeted by a warm and sophisticated ballroom adorned in shades of chocolate brown and rich reds. dinner service @ spanish hills is entertainment in and of itself! servers perform a simultaneous service, where they present food to every guest at a table at the same time! it’s quite a dramatic entrance. 🙂
with each course, steph had selected the perfect entertaining accompaniment. with the salads came a lion dance, the entrées paired with wonderful taiko drumming, and the dessert was further sweetened by a visit from JOE BRUIN! it was a blast. after-dinner pleasures included a cigar rolling station (HUGE hit with her guests) and cordial bar. there was also a vintage photobooth for enjoying! steph and i even got in the photobooth together! i’ll have to scan those pics in and share them another time. 😉
enjoy these magical glimpses of their big day, courtesy of the oh-too-wonderful jules bianchi. i can’t tell you how much fun it was to work with jules and her twin sis, joy! she got a kick out of seeing me working with my sis, too! a highlight of the evening was their choreographed dance on the empty dancefloor as the night came to a close. 😉
i loooove this portrait! the blue tint makes it look vintage + ethereal.
loooove this kiss shot, too!
although i am still partial to oski, i have to give joe some props for his skills on the dance floor!
our vendor team included jules bianchi photography, tea rose garden with delicious florals, bbj linens, bread basket bakery (for that beauuutiful cake!), photoworks interactive with their booth, arroyo string quartet, ucla taiko group, vccaa lion dance troupe, cigar catering, and joel from feet first entertainment as the great dj! whew!
steph + jeremiah: you two were so incredible throughout the planning process. i loved getting to know you both and sharing in the plans of your big day. most of all, it was an inspiration to witness the deep, unshakable love you share. you two are so beautiful together. i wish you only the best! xoxo, angel
