do you remember the sneak peek i gave a few weeks back, featuring a gorgeous pink wedding at la venta inn? well i am thrilled to be able to share some professional pics from the day courtesy of my dear friend danielle of skye blu photography. it is always a pleasure to work with her. i know the photos will turn out to be romantic, evocative and timeless whenever she’s behind the lens. i look forward to our next collaboration in april. 😉
keith initially contacted me and interviewed me while judy was residing in their native Canada. when she came to town and the three of us got together, i knew we were a perfect fit! judy summed up her wedding vision with these words: dreamy, romantic, and PINK! we had a lovely time putting together a stunning event that really lived up to her ideal. i couldn’t have been more pleased with the outcome…
this breathtaking collage features some of the delicate details of their wedding. it was my pleasure to design and put together the favor boxes and menus. the chinese takeout boxes held a bar of rose geranium soap from the soap kitchen.
on the left: hanging vases and crystals adorned the lush arch. on the right: the beautiful bride with her father, about to head down the aisle.
a SERIOUS carpet of pink petals led the way to the arch.
from here you can see the arch in all its lusciousness.
a frame of the eiffel tower was covered in mini-blooms. i printed wallet-sized prints of their engagement photos and affixed them with crystal-head pins.
the ballroom has a magnificent view of the coastline featured through large glass windows.
at the end of the night, judy changed into a red dress by a.b.s. it looked amazing on her!
my favorite pic of the couple.
it was a sweet and intimate wedding that made for a perfect end for my 2007 season. hope you are all having a great weekend!
