sneak peek – sean + cindy, 3.8.08

things have been buzzing over here at love & splendor, as wedding season kicks into high gear. 😉 i’m soooo pumped for this year!

i had my first wedding of 2008 last saturday at the beautiful westin in pasadena. the ceremony took place at the awe-inspiring westminster presbyterian church. you’ve probably seen the glorious façade of the church in various films (including the wedding planner and wedding crashers). everything was beautiful and flowed smoothly. my favorite part of the day was at the end of the night, sitting at an empty table (around 11:45p) and chatting with cindy and sean. they were truly thrilled with how everything came together and we just relished in the final result of our efforts. that is exactly what i wish for all of my clients, and i felt blessed in that moment with them. c+s, can’t wait to get together upon your return!

they are currently on a fabulous honeymoon in asia (first stop: japan!) and they took the time to email me (aww!) so i could share these teaser photos with you! thanks to their photography, rodolfo arpia, for these shots.

i adore this pic of the bride getting ready. she’s so calm and cheerful here, as always. hair and makeup was provided by the fabulous joyce luck.

the groom, looking quite dapper himself! did i mention these two are both cal grads?? looove working with fellow alumni. go bears!

just a glimpse of the dazzling stained glass at the church

a peek into the ballroom…

sunset smooch in front of gorgeous city hall!

i hope this little “blog bite” satisfied you all for now. 😉 i will post a (belated) birthday weekend recap soon, so stay tuned. have a lovely evening!

xoxo, angel

  3. what a beautiful church! great shots.

  4. Looked like a great way to start the year. And a pretty big wedding it was. I heard it was lovely (from a fellow co-worker of Sean’s). Keep those posts coming, Angel.
