Joyeux Noël, 2010

“For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.” -Isaiah 9:6

“She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.” -Matthew 1:21

Our tree, 2010 + our presents for our family.

Merry Christmas, everyone!!  I am taking  a quick break in between family gatherings to drop by and wish you all a wonderful day spent with your loved ones.  We  start our Christmas celebrations early, with festa dei sette pesci at Erik’s aunt’s house on Christmas Eve.  On Christmas morning, we wake up early and open presents at his parents’ home.  And tonight.. we feast with the extended family and play games until late into the night.  I plan on sharing photos of our Christmas traditions sometime next week.  🙂

Amidst all the merriment and joyful gatherings of the season, I want to give honor and glory to my Savior, Jesus Christ.  His birth was the greatest gift of all, because the little baby born in a humble Bethlehem stable, grew up to live a perfect life + die on the cross for me, a sinner.  That God would condescend to earth and take on flesh, to save His own creation, is a glorious, glorious thing.  Thank you, Lord, for your immeasurable love.  ❤  We love, because He first loved us. -1 John 4:19

Lots and lots of love to you all!!

xoxo, Angel
